Lucca Colombelli Silva is a Brazilian-American artist, gallerist, and now dealer/advisor based in Chicago. After dropping out of the School of the Art Institute and founding Povos Gallery in 2020, Lucca produced more than 60 exhibitions, 10 short films, 3 feature-length documentaries, 10 fundraisers, published a book, and presented projects at major international art fairs, including The Armory Show in 2025.
The gallery’s work has been featured in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Vogue Mexico, Chicago Sun-Times, WBEZ, and Colossal, and is most known for starting the career of rising star William Schaeuble; its hit shows and fair presentations with Chicago artists Ashkon Haidari and Isabella Mellado, and for breaking the public market of established NYC-based interdisciplinary Mexican artist Leopoldo Goût.
In 2026, Lucca founded Silva, a new platform created to continue supporting artists from his former program while expanding his focus toward international projects and long-term collection building.
